WHAT:   Hearing on The Aerospace Commission Report & NASA Workforce

The House Science Committee will hold a full committee hearing to review NASA workforce legislation and the findings from The Final Report of the Commission on the Future of the United States Aerospace Industry. This hearing will consist of two panels.  The first panel will review the Aerospace Commission report issued last November and the second panel will review legislation, H.R. 1085, introduced by Science Committee Chairman Sherwood Boehlert to address NASA workforce issues.  This bill provides additional authorities for the agency to recruit and retain a highly skilled workforce, one of the primary recommendations from the Aerospace Commission.
