The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Teal Group have created a strategic partnership to deliver Aerospace Markets — The Decade Ahead, a full day event which will offer, for the first time, 10-year forecasts by senior analysts with this independent aerospace and defense- consulting firm.

The presentation will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C., 19 February 2003. Unique to our industry, it will serve as a catalyst for information flow and creative exchange by providing a forum wherein aerospace business professionals can meet counterparts in their own and allied disciplines and exchange views. There is no better time or location for introducing original-source market data and analysis about the future of the U.S. aerospace industry.

Ultimately, regulatory and congressional decision-making will be impacted by industry forecasts over the next decade. Issues ranging from investment requirements and capital formation, space launch infrastructure, development of aerospace systems, to national security requirements and R&D funding will all seriously be affected. A critical examination of such issues and other indicators will be a necessity as we continue to explore the future growth of the aerospace marketplace.

Presentations will cover aircraft, engines, satellites and launch services, missiles, UAVs, and defense electronics, as well as a transatlantic corporate overview. According to Marco Caceres, Senior Space Analyst for the Teal Group, “Our analysts take a rigorous approach to understanding the market — developing hard data, and identifying trends within the segments. You’ll get a fervently neutral, objective forecast of the next 10 years.”

Teal Group’s team of experienced analysts and service professionals was founded in 1988 to research and publish timely, accurate information on the aerospace and defense industry — fulfilling the business information requirements of executives, strategic planners, market researchers, and government officials.
