The Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics will consider the Administration’s proposed fiscal year 2003 budget and strategy for aeronautics research. Witnesses will testify regarding how well agencies collaborate their activities in order to minimize duplication. Additionally, the Subcommittee will consider the broader question of the future of aeronautics research; specifically issues of foreign competition and the appropriate level of federal investment in aeronautics research and development.
