Commenting on today’s announcement that Lt. Gen. Lance Lord
will head Air Force Space Command, Space Foundation President
and Chief Executive Officer Elliot G. Pulham said:
“Lance Lord is well known and very highly regarded in the
space community, and from previous service is already very familiar
with the command he’ll be assuming in Colorado Springs.
“General Lord’s reputation is that of someone who is thoughtful,
fast on his feet, and absolutely committed to the welfare of our men
and women in uniform. He’ll be a great leader for the Command,
