Didier Camboly obtained a postgraduate degree in business law from the University of Paris
2-Assas (1978) and is an alumnus of CIFFOP, the French inter-university personnel
management training school (1979). He started his career in the Personnel Management
department of the Philips Group.
He subsequently held posts with several prestigious companies, at Snecma, Campenon
Bernard, Hoffmann-La Roche and Westinghouse Electric, where he was Director of Human
Resources of one of the Group’s subsidiaries, with a seat on the Executive Committee.
In 1993, he took over as Director of Human Resources at Dassault Aviation’s Vélizy facility. Here
he was responsible for advising more than 12 general managers and departments, and in
particular for recruiting and internal mobility. He also played an active role in the company’s ISO
9001 certification project.
Didier Camboly therefore brings to his new position at CNES the long experience he has
acquired as Director of Human Resources with several European aviation and high-tech groups.
