WASHINGTON — The U.S. Air Force has awarded LinQuest Corp. of Los Angeles a $29 million contract modification for additional satellite communications engineering support, according to an Aug. 27 press release from the company.

The modification brings the total value of the contract, known as the Military Satellite Communication Analysis, System Integration and Engineering Services contract, or MASIES, to $154.8 million.

The Air Force has also exercised a MASIES option contract to provide systems engineering and integration to the Military Satellite Communications Systems Directorate at the Air Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center, the service’s chief space acquisition arm.
