In 1988, Robin Williams greeted the crew of NASA’s Space Shuttle Discovery with “Good morning, Discovery!” Williams’ greeting on Day 2 of the STS-26 mission was a take on his performance as Adrian Cronauer in the movie “Good Morning, Vietnam,” which received general release that same year.
