NASA has awarded the JSC Information Management and
Media Services (JIMMS) Contract to Tessada & Associates of
Springfield, Va. InDyne, Inc. of McLean, Va., will be a major
subcontractor. The contract has a potential value of $175
million.

The procurement was conducted as a small business set-aside.

Work under the contract will be performed at JSC and will
provide products and services supporting the Information
Resources Directorate and the External Relations Office. The
types of services provided by JIMMS are media services,
application services, writing, editing and graphics,
information management, customer support, public affairs
multimedia services, external relations and communications.

The contract is a cost-plus award fee, indefinite delivery,
indefinite quantity type with a basic three-year period of
performance not to exceed $105 million. Two option periods
are available and, if all are exercised, would bring the
period of performance to five years, with a total contract
value not to exceed $175 million.

The contract will assist in meeting the objectives of JSC’s
Information Resources Directorate and External Relations
Office. It is being awarded to consolidate pieces of three
existing contracts. The goal of this consolidation is to
increase efficiency and provide effective products and
services for JSC’s internal and external customers.
