Award has Potential Value of $5.6 Billion over Seven-Year Period

Merlin International, one of the nation’s fastest growing federal IT solutions providers, today announced that it has secured a contract under the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV Program. The Merlin SEWP IV award is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) and has a potential maximum value of $5.6 billion during a seven-year period. The NASA SEWP IV program is the fourth iteration of the original contract vehicle introduced in 1993.

“Securing this contract is instrumental in strengthening our relationships with vital government agencies including NASA,” said David Phelps, president and CEO of Merlin International. “Merlin holds an extensive contract vehicle portfolio, including GSA schedules, GWAC and agency-specific contracts. Adding a contract secured under NASA SEWP IV enhances our ability to deliver our proven public sector expertise in creating security, managed content, enterprise messaging and enterprise management solutions for the federal government.”

NASA designed the SEWP IV contracts to provide federal personnel with innovative computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, network equipment, and peripherals. They are available for ordering by all NASA centers, all federal agencies and their contractors. The minimum amount of supplies or services that may be ordered for Merlin’s SEWP IV contract is $2,500 with a maximum of $5.6 billion over the seven-year contract.

“We welcome the chance to work with NASA by providing great technology, dedicated people and trusted professional services support,” said Mark Zalubas, Chief Technology Officer of Merlin. “This new contract provides a natural extension for our work with key agencies like the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, U.S. Navy, as well as the Department of Veterans Affairs and NASA.”
