Griffin Communications Group (Griffin) today announced Lauren Quesada and Brett Griffin have been promoted to Vice President, Aerospace and Vice President, Marketing & Strategy, respectively. They assume their new roles immediately.

“Griffin is committed to applying our skills and unique experience to the rise of a diverse, sustainable space industry – from exploration and development to commerce and tourism,” said agency President Jeff Carr. “At a time of significant growth for the agency, this promotion of Lauren and Brett and their new responsibilities will strengthen our ability to better tell the stories of those who are pushing the envelope and improving our world through this rapidly growing industry.”

As Vice President, Aerospace, Quesada will continue growing Griffin’s established reputation as the nation’s leading space communications and public relations agency. She will provide senior oversight of all aerospace accounts in the areas of strategic communications, media relations, crisis communications, and launch logistics and support. Quesada will be responsible for further developing current client relationships, while building new ones with emerging companies and key influencers in the Aerospace community.

Quesada joined Griffin in December 2015 as a senior account manager and led a variety of accounts before her promotion to Director of Account Services in 2019. During her time at the agency, she has emerged as a solid leader, contributing significantly to client strategies and solutions.

“With her ability to lead and strategize, Lauren ensures we continue to live up to our reputation of exceeding expectations and providing exemplary service to our clients,” Carr said. “She is more than qualified and ready to take on this new challenge.”

As Vice President-Marketing & Strategy, Brett Griffin will lead a new effort within the agency focused on maintaining a high level of expertise in digital technology, trends, tools, and applications to benefit the agency and clients. This will include the development of digital and social media strategies, media relations strategies, and reporting, research, and data analysis. His department will ensure all client teams have access to the latest tools and best practices to ensure maximum client benefit. He will also continue to oversee marketing and business development for the agency.

Brett joined the agency in 2009 as an intern and was quickly promoted to junior account executive. Over the years, he has been promoted multiple times, most recently serving as Director, Marketing & Business Development. He has led a wide spectrum of key accounts ranging from established aerospace companies to commercial start-ups and space-related entertainment.

“Brett has an unsurpassed knowledge of the space industry and the technical challenges associated with relating the complexities of space flight to a lay audience. His passion for this storytelling coupled with his broad experience and deep insight to market conditions, industry trends and needs will pay huge dividends to all of our clients and to the agency.” Carr said. “He is going to excel in this new role and expand the immense value he already brings to the team.”
