International Space Development Conference 2019

Hosted by the National Space Society, the mission of ISDC® 2019 is connecting knowledge seekers of all backgrounds in the spirit of Space exploration, development, and discovery. The conference brings together leading industry leaders, policymakers, engineers, scientists and educators from the civilian, military, commercial, entrepreneurial and grassroots advocacy space sectors to work toward a common goal of developing a spacefaring civilization.
Now in its 38th year, ISDC attracts attendees from more than 20 countries, offering multiple networking opportunities with a variety of receptions, lunches, dinners, after-hours social events and exhibits. Each day will open with a plenary session at 8:30 AM followed by four concurrent tracks
Wednesday: The pre-conference Policy Forum on Space Settlement begins at 8:30 a.m. with discussions that will focus on the domestic and international legislative and legal landscape related to the development of space settlement architecture, technologies, policy and regulations. Thursday-Sunday: ISDC begins with an opening address by NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine at 8:30 a.m. and continues through Sunday with plenary sessions, concurrent tracks and a student-focused program. The conference features exhibits from aerospace companies, NSS representatives, silent auction items, space artists, and vendors. Multiple networking opportunities including receptions, lunches, dinners, and after-hours social events will allow participants to meet people of similar interests and aspirations.
