APL’s SEASONS 2020 Virtual Conference: Space Weather and the Space Warfighting Domain

Wednesday, November 4 - Thursday, November 5

The 2020 SEASONS (Space Environment Applications Systems and Operations for National Security) Virtual Conference features an impressive lineup of keynotes and discussion over two days that will focus on evolving space weather threats to operational assets and how the space environment could be exploited for operational advantage.

Space weather awareness is critical to our lives on Earth in numerous ways, and knowing the distribution and direction of energetic charged particles along a spacecraft’s trajectory is key to situational and satellite-health awareness.

We are proud to announce the 2020 SEASONS Keynote Speakers:

  • Col. Gary Kubat (Acting Director, Air Force Weather)
  • Dr. Louis Uccellini (Director, National Weather Service)
  • Mr. Michael Dickey (Chief Architect, U.S. Space Force)
  • Col. Patrick Williams (Commander 557th WW, U.S. Air Force)

Since 2014, this semiannual conference hosted by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has engaged more than 350 attendees representing military, government, university, commercial, and contractor stakeholders with cutting edge knowledge and expertise from the nation’s leading experts on these important issues.
