Manwei Chan
Manwei Chan spent a year at Amundsen-Scott South Pole station as a researcher for the BICEP cosmology telescope collaboration and also deployed on the Nathaniel B Palmer Antarctic Research Vessel, crossing the Southern Ocean and Drake Passage while conducting oceanographic sampling. He has also spent a year in the Atacama Desert as the operator for the CLASS cosmology telescope. He holds a PhD from MIT in Aeronautics and Astronautics and has worked in the commercial space industry at Draper, E-Space, and most recently Voyager Space.
