Editor in Chief
Brian Berger is editor in chief of SpaceNews.com and the SpaceNews magazine. He joined SpaceNews.com in 1998, spending his first decade with the publication covering NASA. His reporting on the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia accident was recognized with an Online News Association award for breaking news. He was named senior staff writer in 2004, a position he held until being named SpaceNews deputy editor in 2008. Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in magazine production and editing from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where he was active in student government. He is always interested in hearing your ideas for making SpaceNews and SpaceNews.com better.

Jeff Foust writes about space policy, commercial space, and related topics for SpaceNews. He earned a Ph.D. in planetary sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree with honors in geophysics and planetary science from the California Institute of Technology.

Greg Thomas is a co-owner of SpaceNews. Greg is also a member of SpaceNews’ Board of Directors. Greg’s experience spans both print and digital businesses. Before joining SpaceNews, he served as COO of Inside Communciations, a sports publishing company based in Boulder, Colorado. During Greg’s tenure at Inside Communications, he was responsible for leading the company through a digital transformation and was instrumental in leading the company to profitability and growth. Previously Greg served in a number of roles for Quokka Sports, Interval Research Corporation, and Apple Computer.
Business Development Director
Paige McCullough is the business development director for SpaceNews. She is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in the space industry and 6 at SpaceNews. In her role at SpaceNews, she is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and developing new business opportunities. Paige’s career in the space industry began at a commercial launch services provider where she honed her skills in corporate communications. She later transitioned to the media industry where she has developed and executed successful campaigns for a range of clients, from established aerospace companies to up-and-coming startups. Paige’s leadership and strategic insights have also helped SpaceNews to expand into new areas, including sponsored content and social media advertising. While she has a deep understanding of the space industry as well as media and advertising trends, it’s her ability to forge long-standing relationships with industry partners that she finds most rewarding. Paige is a graduate of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Kamal Flucker is a Business Development Manager at SpaceNews bringing over 20 years of experience to the SpaceNews team. Over the years, Kamal has worked for and with Fortune 5 companies to local business as well as government/military agencies and nonprofits. With a plethora of notable awards, Kamal brings a depth of knowledge that is unique to his experiences. Kamal is a graduate of Howard University majoring in journalism with a concentration in advertising. Kamal enjoys traveling and fishing but more importantly spending time with his family.
Andy has worked in media for 30 years. Andy is currently Chief Marketing Officer at SpaceNews, and was previously CEO at Pocket Outdoor Media, and COO at Panache Cyclewear. Prior to Panache Andy was the Publisher of VeloNews, where he guided the publication to record sales and circulation performance and was responsible for radically growing the interactive business and diversifying brand revenues. In 2003 he founded Town Green Media where he launched and published the Ozzie and Eddie award winning Wilton Magazine, which he later sold to Morris Media. Prior to that, Andy was Vice President and Publisher at Online Inc. where he was the Publisher of EContent magazine. He has held media-related positions including Group Vice President, Exposition Director, Director of Sales and Marketing, Advertising Director and Sales Manager. Andy earned a television Emmy award for his production work with ESPN on the 1992 America’s Cup yacht race. Pemberton holds a B.A. from Hobart College and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Tony Kingham is the sales representative for SpaceNews in Europe (excluding France, Italy and Spain) and all international business outside the Americas.
He has represented SpaceNews in Europe for more than 14 years.
He has worked within the space, defense and security markets for more than 25 years, is the publisher of a number of online directory products as well as organizer of specialist conferences and expos.

Emmanuel Archambeaud is working in the SpaceNews team since February 1991 and is the manager of advertising sales in European countries like France, Italy, and Spain. He is responsible for business development for major accounts at SpaceNews and SpaceNews.com.
Following attendance at University of La Sorbonne in Paris with a master’s degree, he worked as a key account manager in an advertising agency becoming partner of the advertising agency before joining his actual company. Based in Paris, Emmanuel always worked with experienced media spanning both print and digital businesses.
Pam Washburn is the accounting assistant for SpaceNews. She applies payments and sends customer invoices and statements. She interacts with customers or their agencies to assist as needed, and for collection purposes.
She has worked in the accounting field for 42 years.
