What: On Feb. 21, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will host a Small Business Alliance meeting at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration in Huntsville. More than 400 representatives of large and small business prime contractors, subcontractors and NASA organizations are expected to participate.

Members of the news media are invited to attend.

Sponsored by the Marshall Center’s Small Business Office – part of the Office of Procurement — the Small Business Alliance was established in 2007 to help small businesses pursue NASA procurement and subcontracting opportunities.

Who: Marshall Center Director Patrick Scheuermann will welcome participants. Speakers from the Marshall Center will include Jodi Singer, deputy manager of the Space Launch System Program; Kim Whitson, director of the Office of Procurement; Chris Crumbly, manager of the Space Launch System Advanced Development Office; David Thaxton, Marshall’s Occupational Health Officer; Johnny Stephenson, deputy director of the Office of Strategic Analysis & Communications; Bob Devlin, deputy director of the Office of Center Operations; Lynn Garrison, manager for Small Business Innovative Research /Small Business Technology Transfer Research; and small business specialist David Brock.
