NASA’s Centennial Challenge on 3D Printing of Habitats

NASA’s Centennial Challenges Program (NASA’s prize competition program for the public) has recently opened registration for phase II of the 3D Printed Habitat Challenge. Phase II has a total prize purse of 1.1 million. More information about the challenge, the Phase II schedule, and a link to the website for registration are included below. Team registration is currently set to close on January 31st.
NASA’s 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge seeks to foster development of new technologies to additively manufacture a habitat using local indigenous materials with, or without, recyclable materials, in space and on Earth.
