Microgravity Research at NASA: Community Input Colloquium

Wednesday, April 19 @ 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Free
ISS Microgravity

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invite you to attend a one-day colloquium and webcast on the current status of life and physical science research at NASA. During the colloquium, panels of invited science experts will discuss recent advances made as a result of access to spaceflight, key questions that have yet to be answered, and how to best allocate resources between research that advances the fields of science and research that improves the capabilities needed for future exploration.

This event is part of a follow-up study assessing the progress made since the 2011 Decadal Survey Report, Recapturing a Future for Space Exploration: Life and Physical Sciences Research for a New Era. Community input will inform the deliberations of the study committee and help provide guidance for future planning at NASA.

Registrations will be accepted through the day of the event, but only those who register before April 14th will be provided with name badges. Please address any questions to Sandra Graham at [email protected]

If you intend to join us via webcast, please register as a webcast participant. The webcast will be available at:
