If you plan to get your business involved in UK space launch, or support the development of related supply chain opportunities – this event is for you.
It is an exciting time for the UK space sector. The Government is working to enable the launch of small satellites and sub-orbital flights from UK spaceports. New legislation to regulate launch is currently before Parliament. And we are considering proposals to fund the new technology and infrastructure we need. LaunchUK will spread new opportunity throughout our space and aerospace sectors. We want to explore how the market could develop, what opportunities it offers for new supply chains, and how we can help deliver these benefits across the UK.
We want to hear from organisations that could operate in, supply or enable this new market, so we are hitting the road, visiting Belfast (9/11/17), Nottingham (15/11/17), Durham (19/11/2017), Harwell (24/11/17), Cardiff (5/12/17) and Glasgow (15/12/17), with briefings and workshops from Government officials and industry experts.
We will share our thinking and gather your feedback, which will inform the Government’s future vision for UK launch services, our market strategy and regulatory policy. So if you could operate in, supply or help support the development of a space launch market in the UK, then join the discussion – visit GOV.UK to register for a ticket.
Public Open Evening
If you want to find out about small satellite launch and sub-orbital flight from UK spaceports, and what the Government is doing to help realise this ambition, come along to one of our open evenings. They will take place at 6pm on the same day as the industry roadshow, and are open to all. Visit GOV.UK to register for a ticket.
