Congested, Contested, and Competitive: The Future of Security and Commerce in Space

Tuesday, March 14 @ 1:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Impression of comet passing planet earth

Access to space has emerged as a top priority in the realm of commerce and national security. As the commercial satellite industry has expanded exponentially over the past decade, so has the ability for nations to leverage space for defensive – and potentially offensive – capabilities. Meanwhile, the rapidly growing volume of orbital debris threatens commercial and government assets alike.

University of Arizona and the National Defense Industrial Association invite you to attend an event where thought leaders in the fields of commerce, national security, and academia discuss these challenges and questions. The conversations, along with remarks by key congressional leaders, will highlight the critical decisions the United States Government must make in the near future to secure space for American prosperity and security.
