Chinese Long March 2C Launches Experimental Sats

China on Oct. 14 launched a pair of experimental civilian satellites aboard a Long March 2C rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northeastern part of the country, according to the state run Xinhua News Agency.

The Practice-9A and Practice-9B satellites, built by an affiliate of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp., will test new components, formation flying and “inter-satellite measurement,” Xinhua said.
